JCI Norway Senate proudly invites you to Drammen, the beautiful river city about 40 km west of Oslo and just 1 hour by the airport train from Oslo’s Gardermoen Airport.
Drammen has international awards for its impressive development and has the most proud citizens in Norway according to a survey made by Sentio (not to be confused with Senotium).
Sentio, which is a knowledge company in social science, says that the city of Drammen has an X-factor.
Now in September it’s time for Senotium and for YOU and other sparkling Senators to find out what Drammen has to offer.
Golf for the enthusiastic golfers on Friday at Kjekstad golf course.
Home for Senotium will be the Clarion Collection Hotel Tollboden and the official programme starts Friday evening at 6 pm with dinner at the hotel and our great get-together-party at 8 pm.
On Saturday representatives from the City Development Office will present Drammen’s recent history which will be followed by a guided city tour and river cruise presenting more ancient history.
After a delicious tapas lunch at the riverside restaurant Skutebrygga, you can go shopping, visit nice places around the Market Square or explore more of the riverside on your own.
Saturday evening’s dinner and party will be held in the old residence of the founder of Aass Brewery - the oldest brewery in Norway. One of the best chefs in Drammen will indulge us with an excellent and tasty 3 course meal with wine/beer or mineral water included.
After a slow breakfast on Sunday morning you will be allowed to return back home again.
